Rating: overall, NC-17, but the sex is actually pretty thin on the ground.  Seriously, if you’re looking for porn, turn back now.

Spoilers: anything from the Whoniverse up to the end of Torchwood series 2.

Warnings: Character death (nothing permanent for the central characters).

This story was spawned by a conversation about the lack of ways to make Jack suffer due to his immortality.  In retrospect, I'm not entirely sure it’s Jack who ends up suffering here.

It doesn’t take into consideration any broadcasts, information, rumours or gossip post-S2 as it was plotted before any of the new stuff emerged.  Timeline-wise, though, this is somehow squished between Exit Wounds and The Stolen Earth.
