The Rough with the Smooth

Another story started back in 2001. Why, yes, I am clearing out old story folders on the PC, how did you know?

This story is a 'get them together' request. I was challenged to write something cheerful, which is not my forte, I openly admit. I began this with good intentions, but it staggered to a halt when I was irrevocably drawn to the angst and misery of Repossession. Way more enjoyable.

Now completed, although I struggled with the 'romance' prompt - I don't have a romantic bone in my body.

The prompts were:
                             Romance/happy ending.
                             Playing hard to get.
                             A gift that doesn't go down well, and one that does.
                             Something spooky.

                             Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Ray Vecchio.
                             Nice Hat: Fraser's stetson.
                             Always Gets His Man: Fraser, naturally.
