Disclaimer: So not mine. Written purely for fun. No profit, no promises of literary value.  

Summary: Instead of bringing Spike a puppy to snack on, Drusilla brought him a kitten.  Xander.  Spike, still in a wheelchair, decided that making himself a companion might be a smart idea. He does so.  Vamp!Xander learns the ropes, and learns that maybe things don't change quite so much as he was told.  

Warnings: Vamp!Xander.  He's not like the Wish!Verse Xander, though.  He's been treated much differently, and is much different as a result.  

Notes: I'm trying to remain true to Xander and to unchipped!Spike in this 'verse while exploring Xander without a soul.  How  much of Xander's nature is his soul, and how much is just Xander?  Most of it's turned out to be just Xander.
